The Optime 5K Run welcomes participants of all ages! Our categories for runners and/or walkers range from 8 years old and under to 80 years old and over. Everyone is encouraged to join and be a part of the event.

Packet Pick-Up Dates:

Same-Day Package Pick-Up: For further convenience, if you are unable to make it to the designated pick-up days, you can also collect your package on the day of the race. Visit our registration area from 6:30 am onwards, and we'll be ready to assist you.

This will take you to the official registration page, where you'll find a "Register" button located in the upper right-hand corner. Upon clicking the button, you will be prompted to enter your personal information and select the race in which you wish to participate.

Registration for the on-site race must be completed by 7:00 am EDT on October 15th. As for the virtual races, the registration deadline is also October 15th at 7:00 am EDT. However, participants in the virtual races have the flexibility to run their race until October 22nd at their preferred time.

You are more than welcome to participate in the virtual race with a stroller. However, for safety reasons, we kindly ask that participants refrain from bringing pets along during the race.

We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all runners and walkers.

If you're currently residing in Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, or any city in the USA, The Virtual Regional Race is the way to go. You will receive your finisher medal and a limited edition t-shirt 2 to 3 weeks after running/walking and submitting your results. If you are in any other part of the world, you'll receive a digital certificate that proudly acknowledges your participation 2 to 3 weeks after running/walking and submitting your results.

No need to stress about submitting the results yourself! Optime has you covered through the RaceJoy app,- simply enter your race-assigned bib number, and your finish data will be automatically submitted for real-time scored results.

If you're joining us for the in-person run on October 15th at Vista View Park, make sure to kick off the race with us at 7:30 am ET. We want everyone to have a blast during the 5K, so we're keeping the finish line open until the very last person crosses – no rush!

For those taking part virtually, all you need to do is complete the 5K in a single day, but you get to pick the perfect time for you. There's no need to worry about a time limit – enjoy your run or walk at your own pace!

When you register for the virtual regional race, please note that you have the flexibility to walk or run anytime between Sunday, October 15th, and Sunday, October 22nd. Your race package, including your finisher medal, t-shirts, and swag bag, will be delivered to you within 15 to 30 days after October 22nd. For the participants of the Global Virtual Race, after finishing the race, you will also receive your Digital Certificate. Just like the Regional Race, you can expect the certificate to arrive via email within two to three weeks after submitting your race results. As always, the RaceJoy app makes things hassle-free by automatically submitting your finish data when you enter your race-assigned bib number for real-time scored results.

To track your virtual race distance and results, download the RaceJoy App previous to the race so you can set it up before the race date. After the race, you will see the results on your app profile.
